Use of these services constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Service.

1.3 Medical Emergencies: Electronic communications such as text messages, email, or patient portal messages are not appropriate for urgent or emergency medical situations.If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or proceed to the nearest emergency department or urgent care facility immediately. NextGen Nurse Practitioner Group does not monitor electronic communications continuously and cannot guarantee immediate responses.

1.4 Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, NextGen Nurse Practitioner Group shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages resulting from the use of electronic communication systems, including delays, delivery failures, or unauthorized access due to user negligence.

Section 2: SMS Messaging Program Terms (A2P / 10DLC Compliance) Patients who provide their mobile number and opt in to SMS communications authorize NextGen Nurse Practitioner Group to send SMS or MMS messages related to healthcare services and patient accounts. These messages may include: Appointment reminders, appointment confirmations, care coordination messages, billing notifications, practice announcements or updates, and Messaging Program Details. Message frequency: Varies depending on patient interaction with the practice. Message and data rates: May apply based on your mobile carrier plan. Opt-out: Reply STOP to cancel SMS communications at any time. Help: Reply HELP for assistance with SMS messaging services. Mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.NextGen Nurse Practitioner Group does not sell, rent, or share SMS consent or phone numbers with third parties for marketing purposes.

Policy 3.1 Consent to Receive SMS Messages: By providing your mobile phone number to NextGen Nurse Practitioner Group and opting in to receive text communications, you consent to receive SMS or MMS messages related to your healthcare services and account with the practice. SMS messaging will not be used for marketing unrelated third-party products or services.

3.3 Opt-Out Instructions: Patients may opt out of SMS messaging at any time by: Replying STOP to any message received or contacting the practice at 740-722-0010. After opting out, patients will no longer receive SMS communications unless they re-enroll

Unauthorized access resulting from failure to safeguard login credentials is the user's responsibility.

5.4 Practice Discretion: NextGen Nurse Practitioner Group reserves the right to limit or discontinue electronic communication with patients who misuse the system or fail to comply with these policies.
